Unidentified UFO-like Objects
This page presents for your consideration second and third-hand accounts of Unidentified UFO-like Objects (UULiOs) that have been reportedly sighted in the "North Fork Polygon" area from 1896 to present Eleventy-one Years of Polygon UULiOs
The Winchester UULiO of Meadow Vista
New!   A bluish-white UFO-like Object has been spotted sitting in the middle of the Winchester Country Club between Meadow Vista and Christian Valley. The private estate's Web site logo is "Above the fog, below the snow, out of this world!" And their billboard logo is "Got Space?" The squat glowing disk is nestled in a grove of pine trees on top of a hill and can only be seen from the air or with Google Maps. We have not yet attempted to approach the object from the ground. The Innumerable Folsom Lake UFOrange Sightings of 1970
New!   So many orange UFOs were seen zooming around Folsom Lake near the lower American River Canyon in the early 1970s that "It would require a book to expound on all of the sightings." Here are some random quotes from eyewitnesses presented out of context: "... It would require a book to expound on all of the sightings ... make sure you stay off the road if you're gonna watch ... bright orange lights and most of the time they were flying and hovering near or over Folsom Lake ... we witnessed a sudden bright beam of light suddenly shooting straight down to the water ... the beam of light even passed over our car and lit up the inside ... seemed to be quite high ... there were smaller orange lights that seemed to be originating from the larger light, maybe six or seven of them ... stopped near our car and watched with us for a few moments ... We were forwarded a true story of two local highway patrol officers who reported seeing an unidentified flying object in December 1963 as they were passing through the Clipper Gap/Lake Theodore Vortex. This huge object gave off a white glow which pulsated light to dark, approximately once per second. The following is the text of the actual Auburn Journal news report:
Here's a sampling of other mysterious events that also occurred, by "coincidence", in December 1963:
UFO-like Sighting in Weimar/Eden Valley
Contributing photo-journalist Daved was "tending" his Weimar artichoke garden when he noticed that a lunar comand module had recently "crash-landed" in his neighbor's yard. Here's the actual email sent to Rural Mystery investigators: "NOV 11, 2005 - I was down in my garden today, when I heard some noises below me - what I saw made me run and get my camera! A lunar module-like UFO had appeared near my neighbor's pond! There was a news crew there interveiwing the alien! Then there was about 2 hours of missing time and it hurt to sit down! What a day!" --- Dtr By the next morning, the Unidentified UFO-like Object (UULiO) was gone. This serves as an important reminder to ALWAYS tuck your shirt in as soon as you see a UULiO. This is because, when aliens finish their examination, they almost always forget to tuck your shirt back in. Then later, when you're experiencing "missing time syndrome", you can check your shirt and know if anything happened.
