Rural Mysteries of the North Fork Polygon

Bent and Twisted Trees

In the year 2000, area residents began submitting reports of trees and other plants that have been bent or twisted into horrific shapes.

Were these plants altered by the original Polygonians? Or is this the natural result of unnatural forces?

Please continue to send us pictures and descriptions of your disturbing tree and shrub sightings. Please include the location and your theory explaining how the plant might have been tortured into its' altered state.

Amazing Acorn Autumn '05

Acorns, JPG, 163 KB

The acorn crop of Fall, 2005 might exceed historical precedent! On some trails the oak fruit is so abundant that it can be like trying to walk or ride on a bed of marbles. Watch for sick and twisted squirrels! The photo on the right was taken in Meadow Vista and makes a great desktop wallpaper.

Please consider the following theories:

  • Oak trees are able to predict the future mega-drought and are producing more seeds to help ensure their survival.
  • The DNA of the young acorns was strengtened by the shaking of the June 2005 Polygon earthquake.
  • The under-reported "chem-trail" activity of 2004 caused an increase in reproductive activity.

The 90-Degree Tree

Bent Tree

This twisted tree is located in the vicinity of the 1978 robot sightings and also near a secret hidden cemetery. Competing theories suggest that this tree was either twisted by robots or sprouted from the grave of a robot. Look 30 feet west of the upper switchback on the Manzanita Trail in Weimar.

The Symbiotic Tree-Fence

Frowning Tree-Fence (119 KB)

An ancient oak tree survives in spite of (or because of) growing completely intermeshed with a cyclone fence. Some of the visitors who make the pilgrimage to this site imagine that the tree is "frowning" (Photo 1, Photo 2, Photo 3). The Clipper Gap Treetenna

Clipper Gap Robo-Treetenna

The branches on these bright green trees are all exactly perpendicular to their perfectly straight trunks. Field monitoring indicates that these trees are also strong sources of electro-magnetic radiation which seems to be killing nearby trees. Unfortunately, the government installed a prison-like fences to "protect" these trees from "curious" sight-seers. The strange tree pictured at right is located just east of Highway 80 in Clipper Gap near Lake Theodore. More...

Close-up of Giant Wisteria (113 KB)

This 100-year-old, 100-foot-tall Wisteria "bush" twists and climbs to the top of four Ponderosa pine trees located on Linden Avenue in Auburn. The best time to view this spectacular display of color is early April. So far, no one has challenged our claim that this is the tallest Wisteria in the world. Field staff Randy was able to take the first ever picture of the entire mass of the Wisteria from ground to apex (293 KB). Preliminary tests suggest that this is not a "robo-treenenna". More...

Dark Woods

Dense shadows, only pinholes of light
Armor in trees defying sunlight from me.
Running to find space for me to see,
Kaliedescopes providing dark shades.

Wondering about what's ahead of the trees.
Oh! Could it be an animal, dear me!
Dead, sickening stench filtring through my nose.
Oh! I hope it's small...but that noise?
Soon, the ... monstrosity! will be discovered.
