The Legend of the Warped Foresthill Bridge

The Foresthill Bridge is Straight as seen from the Top of a Nearby Hill

Recently discovered satellite images and aerial photographs reveal that a local landmark may be either geologically unstable or twisted by a temporal nexus.

From near the earth's surface, the Foresthill Bridge looks straight, but when viewed from space, the bridge appears to have a 12 degree bend at it's mid-point. Perhaps this finally explains why so many people are drawn to this epic span from around the globe.

We were able to obtain a vicinity view and a zoom view of the bridge-kink before the project was shut down.

The Foresthill Bridge with kink

The Foresthill Bridge crosses 740-feet above the North Fork of the American River one mile east of Auburn, CA. The span is the fourth tallest bridge in the world and was built this high in order to pass above an imaginary ghost lake.

"I drive near the bottom of the green bridge that I always thought was red, until I looked ...

I'm at the confluence that influences the fallen raindrops mixing between two forks into a river ...

This was going to be a lake, and that is partly why that bridge was there, but potential tremors, caused terror, and the beauty was preserved ... "
