The Giant Artichoke of Eden Valley

Eden Valley Spawns Towering Thistles

Artichokes are not indigenous to the North Fork Polygon. It's rare that they grow at all in the Sierra Nevada foothills. But in the Weimar/Applegate area, these mysterious thistles sometimes reach gigantic proportions. Here's the data on one recent harvest:

  • Weight per Flower Head: 2.5 lbs.
  • Circumference: 20 inches
  • Elevation of Genesis: 2100 ft.
  • Effect/Powers: Under Investigation

Also, a "UFO-like-thingy" was recently sited near the giant artichoke garden.
